Sodick introduces Newest 3D Printer, the Sodick LPM325

Updated: Mar 24, 2021

Sodicks entry model 3D Printer with Reference surface machining ability

The NEW Sodick LPM325 is our entry model of a metal 3D metal powder bed printer that enables 3D printing through laser Sintering and reference surface cutting for the 3D Metal printing of parts on the same machine.

MAIN Features:

A multi-functional additive manufacturing machine for metal 3D printing and reference surface cutting

LPM325 is a multi-functional additive manufacturing machine that performs 3D printing through melting and solidifying a uniform layer of metal powder with laser machining. This machine also provides reference surface cutting without any set-up change. Carrying a compact reference surface cutting device allowed space-saving through the integral structure of electric system and peripheral equipment

Originally equipped with material suction device that handles high-speed building

Optimizing how to gather the fume that arises during the laser machining and reducing the build chamber volume, we succeed in drastically speeding up of building ratio. The machine is originally equipped with material suction device for enhancing work efficiency of gathering the powder in build chamber.

Self-manufactured NC device and dedicated CAM software

The new NC device “RM4RP” that was self-developed and manufactured provides operator-friendly environment by placing manually-operated buttons that are exclusively for metal 3D printer. We also developed dedicated CAM for LPM325 called “LS-BEAMS.”
