Late last week, Sodick issued a press release announcing the acquisition of a majority stake of PRIMA ADDITIVE, an Italian metal 3D printer manufacturing company. The press release said that "Sodick and Prima Additive have strong synergies across industrial sectors, product portfolios, and sales regions".
This is very exciting and should be a very positive opportunity to expand the reach of Sodick into the Metal 3D printing market.
